Quickstart Registration: F.A.Q.
Q: What is Quickstart?
A: A process where students submit the forms and fees needed to begin the school year.
Q: When is Quickstart ?
A: Tuesday August 23rd (freshman), Wednesday August 24th (sophomores and juniors) and Thursday August 25th (juniors and seniors). Appointment times by last name are listed on the website.
Q: Are parents welcome to join students for Quickstart?
A: Only Freshman parents are asked to attend, we ask that upperclassmen students attend on their own.
Q: What if our family is out of town on August 23rd through the 25th? Can we send our paperwork and fee payment in the mail?
A: If students can not attend on Quickstart at their scheduled time, students must bring all of the necessary documentation and fee money on the first day of school. DO NOT SEND PAPERWORK OR FEE PAYMENTS IN THE MAIL.
Q: If I come to Quickstart, but don't have my money, will I still be charged a late fee?
A: No, by attending you will avoid being charged a late fee.
Q: If I come to Quickstart, but don't have my forms filled out and signed by my parents, will I still be able to pay my fees?
A: All forms must be completed before coming ; payment will not be accepted without all of the completed forms, signed by a parent or guardian.
Q: I never got the packet in the mail, now what?
A: Most of the forms are posted on the website under the yellow QUICKSTART INORMATION button. These forms can be downloaded, completed, and brought with you. The only form that is not on the website is the Application for Free or Reduced Lunch, this will only be sent via mail.
Q: I qualified for reduced lunch last year; do I still owe the $220?
A: Only approved School Fee Waivers will allow students to have some or the entire $220 School Fee waived. Waivers are available upon request and are due by October 1st in the Main Office.
Q: I work full-time until school starts and can't get time off for Quickstart. How can I avoid the late fee?
A: Parents are not required to attend, but it is mandatory that students attend. Students in attendance will not be charged a late fee. Remember only freshman parents are invited to the Quickstart.
