Parent Portal

Here are some of the key features of IMPACT Gradebook’s Parent Portal:

Parents can use the Parent Portal to view grades and attendance online.
Parents can view course syllabi, assignments, class descriptions, and several kinds of notes and comments from teachers.
Parents can receive alerts regarding students’ grades and attendance.
Parents can access all of their students’ profiles (regardless of school) with a single account.

Students will receive login codes in their classes if the teacher is using Edline for online grade posting.

Parents are encouraged to contact the teacher to see if they are posting grades to Edline and request their own, personal login code.

Online Databases and Web Resources 2006-2007

The Department of Libraries & Information Services is pleased to offer a full range of subscription online databases to provide additional resources for students, teachers, and administrators. Online databases are often superior sources of Internet-based information because they are:

Relevant
Accurate
Often viewable in full-text
Usually available remotely from home and school

They exponentially expand the school library's resources. For teaching purposes, the reference information can usually be accepted interchangeably with print sources for research projects. Teachers will appreciate the collection of 300+ professional journals accessible in our Thomson Gale family of databases.

To find the LPHS school zone:

From the Drop down list choose Lincoln Park.

You can also type in your address and search for your local school that way.
