Lincoln Park High School Varsity Softball team earned recognition in 2009 as conference champions, suffering only two losses en route to their conference titles. Because Lincoln Park was so successful in 2009, they were moved to the Red North CPS Conference level. Along with a new conference brought larger schools with fierce competition, including Northside College Prep, Whitney Young, Lane Tech, Taft High School, Von Steuben, Clemente High School & Amundsen High School.
