LPHS/Waller Alumni Scholarships Available for Seniors!
LPHS/Waller ALUMNI SCHOLARSHIPS: Six $1,000 scholarships will be awarded at graduation for Lincoln Park students from the Alumni Association. An application file for the scholarship with instructions can be found by accessing the word document on the Guidance Department's Scholarship Page.

BUDGET CUTS IMPACT SOPHOMORE SPORTS
Budgetary conditions have prompted the Chicago Public Schools to halt all spring sophomore sports. Only varsity and freshman teams are allowed to practice according to a memo sent to school athletic directors.

College Representatives Coming to LPHS!
Check the guidance department website under "College Visits" to see colleges coming to LPHS during the week of March 8th. All schools attending are still accepting applications for the Fall of 2010. Seniors are encouraged to attend these information sessions!

Chicago Summer Business Institute-App Due March 31st
The Chicago Summer Business Institute (CSBI) provides a six-week paid internship program for high school sophomores and juniors each summer. These internships take place at various banks, accounting, engineering and law firms firms throughout the Loop and business districts.

Blitz Inspections
Lincoln Park is slated to participate in the program the week of March 8-12, which means cold meal service will begin and continue throughout the clean-up.
Please note that schools will remain open and the educational program will not be disturbed while the cleaning crews are working throughout the building.

5 Fundamentals Survey
This year our school is creating a new School Improvement Plan for Advancing Academic Achievement (SIPAAA) and we would like your input!
Come by the main office and complete a form.

Get Cut for a Cure
Once again LPHS is particpating in St. Baldrick's Day -- with our own MANE EVENT!
It is scheduled to take place on 11 March 2010, start time at 3p until 4:30p.
