Performing Arts

The performing arts department at LPHS consists of over 1,200 students and offers nine curricular choirs, five bands, four orchestras, A.P. music theory, piano lab, and many extra-curricular ensembles. The ensembles perform at many events throughout the school year including the IHSA solo and ensemble contest where they have been awarded multiple Superior and Honors Superior rankings.
