Philip Kendall
Mr. Kendall has taught music in Chicago Public Schools for 17 years and this is his 11th year at Lincoln Park High School. He studied music education at Goshen College, has a MA in Teacher Leadership from Roosevelt University, and is a National Board certified teacher. During the pandemic, he obtained an additional teaching endorsement in Computer Science and enjoys the connections and overlap between CS and music. He currently teaches Music Theory for music majors, Intermediate Treble Choir, and Exploring Computer Science. Outside of LPHS, Philip enjoys baking, traveling, caring for his plants, attending concerts/theater, exercising, and singing and conducting with Lux Cantorum, a local sacred music choir.
