Jazz Band to Perform in Festival
Select members (15) of The Lincoln Park High School Jazz Band will perform at the 2009 Chicago Jazz Festival in Grant Park on Sunday September 6th at1:00 p.m. The band will receive the Big Band, Big Stage Award from The Jazz Institute of Chicago at that time.

Dress Code Reminder
Lincoln Park High School students are expected to show good judgment by dressing appropriately for school. They should dress in a manner that is not disruptive to the learning environment and that does not endanger their safety or that of others.

IOur Mayor Daley's Book Club Battle of the Books Team won 1st place at the 9th Annual Spring Conference held at DuSable High School!

The student-artists were each awarded a "Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition" by 5th District Congressman Mike Quigley for their participation in "An Artistic Discovery" the 2009 Congressional Art Competition for High School Students.
