School Begins Tuesday, September 7 at 8:15 a.m and ends at 2:30 p.m.
We have a special bell schedule for the first day of school. School will begin for all students at 8:15 a.m. and end at 2:30 p.m. We will start our regular bell schedule on Wednesday, September 8. Please see below for details.

On August 31st, Mr. Phillip Castleberry will be recognized as Jazz Educator of the Year at the 8th annual gala of the Jazz Institute of Chicago.

Fidelity Futurestage/Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation Competiton WINNERS

Congratulations to Manual Canchola, Nathan Crawford, Gerardo Fernandez and Greg Piekosz! They will be performing live on stage with the Chicago Symphony on Monday, June 7th, 2010.

Intel International Science and Engineering Fair Winners
Lincoln Park was proud to send 2 students to the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair, held in San Jose, CA, from May 9-14. Lincoln Park sent 2 of the 4 CPS students, and both of them won numerous awards at the fair.
Orchestra is Number 1 in State.
In the recent IHSA Solo and Ensemble Orchestra Contest, LPHS won 117 points making our performers the top in the State for Class AA. Fantastic work Students and Conductors!
2010 Chicago Teachers Union “Young Chicago Artist” Winner
Congratulations to Daniella Dawson!
Her artwork was selected as one of the 26 winners in the 2010 “Young Chicago Artist” contest.
3rd Annual Chicago Farmers Markets Reusable Canvas Bag Design Contest

Lincoln Park High School submitted about 30 of the 75 entries for this years contest.
Student Christie Auyeung received 3rd Place in the contest and was recognized in a ceremony at Daley Plaza on May 13, 2010. She received a $500.00 scholarship and a large poster of her artwork to take home with her.
