Town Hall Meeting and Special LSC Meeting to Present Budget, CIWP, and Final FSD Plan This special meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 22nd at 630pm in room 103. The agenda is attached below. We will present the budget for FY 13, present the Continuous Improvement Work Plan, and share the final Full School Day plan. |

LP Boys LAX City Runner Up, Girls Softball Highest Conference Finish, Track and Field State Qualifier Congratulations to the Boys Lacrosse team for earning second place in the city honors. Although they lost to Lane Tech at Lane in the city finals, the team fought hard the whole way and showed LP pride, as did the spirited crowd that supported the team. Girls Varsity Softball finished 2nd in the Red North, their highest conference finish in several years. It is now on to the playoffs. Sophomore Kim W. placed second in the sectional in the long jump with a jump of 17'1''. With the 2nd place finish, Kim advanced to the 3A state finals at EIU next weekend. Congratulations to all of our athletes and coaches for a successful spring. |

LPHS Music Department Does It Again The IHSA Music Sweepstakes points have been tallied, and LP is again the 2nd place winner in Class AA. The Sweepstakes scores are a compilation of the IHSA Solo and Ensemble and Organization Contests. We are so proud of our incredible music students and their Instrumental Music teachers Mr. Castleberry, Ms. Filipek, Ms. Gilly, and Mr. Lenss, and their Choir teachers Ms. Ciesliga, Mr. Cooper, and Ms. Harrod-Burch.
